Leasing Phase of South Reading SERGO Project to Begin
With Kevin Williamson as the new senior leasing surveyor of SERGO, the reputed property development company is gearing up to formally begin the leasing of its latest redevelopment project at the
The leasing of this £100m project will be carried out through the collective efforts of agents Colliers and Vail Williams, who will work in close coordination with Williamson.
The project, which involves construction of a big business plaza, is being projected as one of the most important initiatives for SERGO. With an additional 323,000 square feet for four new office structures and 16,500 square feet for retail outlets, the complex will have enough shared office space in its premises to accommodate over 20,000 firms.
A 174 bedroom Holiday Inn hotel will also stand inside the complex. The enormity of this ambitious project is evident from the fact that even with 3,000 people already working on the site, it will take over 15 years for SERGO to finish the entire project. However, the first few office buildings, which are leased to the engineering company Jacobs and former resident Harris System, are expected to be completed by the end of this year.
A man of diverse qualifications and experience, Kevin Williamson served as associate director with the DTZ Bristol office, negotiating industrial and corporate transactions in the Bristol area. His work experience with SERGO makes him the most worthy candidate to strategically execute the new leasing responsibilities of the South Reading complex, according to SERGO’s regional manager of national markets, Vicki Patterson.
